Dear Marching Band Members and Families,

In our efforts to raise money for our trip to Grand Nationals in Indianapolis we are going to have a bottle drive next weekend, Labor Day weekend.

On Tuesday, September 1, Mrs. Karrow will be at practice handing out fliers to section leaders. Section Leaders will be responsible for getting fliers to individual band members. 

Each band member will have 20 fliers to take around their neighborhood and attach to the flag on your neighbor's mailboxes. You can make copies if you need more fliers. This must be done by Friday, September 4. Keep track of where you leave your fliers.

On Tuesday, September 8, after 3:00 P.M. you have to go back around to all of the houses that you left fliers and pick up any cans/bottles left for you. We will send out a Thank You note for you to leave anyone that donated.

Take the cans/bottles back to your local grocery store. All refund slips must be turned in to Ms. Boyle or left in the Band Boosters mail box in the band room but Friday, September 11.

We are going to divide up by section and the section with the highest dollar return amount will get a SPECIAL PRIZE.

SECTION LEADERS - help your section!! We are counting on you to help make this a success!! Make sure that everyone in your section is aware of the bottle drive. Make sure that everyone has copies of the flier to hand out. Help your section get their bottles returned!!
