Dear Parents and Students, It continues to be a busy time in the West Bloomfield Bands. Even though the year is soon coming to a close, we have many announcements and upcoming events in our program.

 Winter Drumline: The Winter Drumline competed this weekend in Dayton, Ohio at WGI World Finals. The drumline  competed this year for the first time in Scholastic World Class. They finished in 10th place with a score of 88.45! We are very proud of the work that these very talented students put in this season. Congratulations!

Pit Orchestra: Pit Orchestra will be wrapping up this weekend with performances of “Children of Eden”. Performances are scheduled for Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 7:30 pm.

Marching Band Leadership Interviews: Interviews for next year’s marching band leadership team will be occurring this week on Thursday and Friday after school. All interested students should sign up for a time in the band room, and pick up an application from Mr. Mielens or Mr. Fig.

Jazz Band: Due to musical rehearsals, no Jazz Band rehearsals are occurring this week. Jazz will resume next Monday, April 30th.
